Converting between Fractions and Decimals

1. Convert the following decimals to fractions and then cancel to their simplest form.

2. Covert the following fractions to decimals, do not use a calculator and show full working.  Use an appropriate method.

3. Covert the following recurring decimals into fractions showing a clear method.

c Can you see a pattern in your results? What is the pattern and can you predict what 0.8888888888.. will be equal to?
